Booked a tour last minute and was so glad we did! Paulo, our guide, and this partner Gorete were so sweet and welcoming! Paulo gave us a full tour of the small winery including stops to point out and appreciate all the flora of the property. When we actually sat down for the wine tasting, Paulo played his guitar and sang for us. The food was amazing! I still think about Gorete’s homemade pumpkin jam! Highly recommend for an intimate and authentic experience!

It was very informative and great fun. Our tour guide Paulo and his wife made this experience very personalised and warm. We visited truly unique places and tried a variety of Portuguese dishes whilst Paulo helped us to understand the tradition and history which evolves around the Portuguese cuisine. Wine was one of the best we had! Highly recommended to anyone with a good taste for food and especially those visiting Algarve for the first time.

It was a lovely experience from start to finish and we are so grateful to our hosts for their hospitality. Despite the last minute change to the time we had originally booked, Paulo and Gorete were very communicative and made sure we found the picnic spot. The location was serene and far from the city to feel like a world of our own enjoying the sunset, surrounded by the beautiful views of a beautiful vineyard. The evening began with our host giving us a mini tour of the farm where most of the food and wine we had purchased came from. We were then seated facing the sunset whilst being served a selection of freshly prepared local dishes with amazing wine pairings. Our hosts met our every need and even provided a blanket when it got a little chilly. We had a great time and enjoyed every bit of the experience; I would definitely recommend it as a first activity if you are visiting the Algarve as a couple.
