After being picked up at your accommodation, embark on a tasty private tour lasting about 6 hours, exploring places that shape the history and customs of our enogastronomic tradition. Enriched with fascinating facts and local knowledge, get ready to see and taste the Algarve in a unique way.

Start by traveling through the beautiful hills and valleys of Barrocal and the Monchique Mountains. You will get to walk on the new Algarve boardwalks with a suspended bridge and breathtaking scenery at Barranco do Demo (Devil’s Gulch).

Next, enjoy the views of the Highest point of the Algarve: Fóia. Here you can see almost all of the Algarve Region in all its splendor.

The next stop will be the picturesque village of Monchique. Hiding in the hills, this is a place of joyful people with traditions quite different from the ones on the seaside. Black pig sausages (chouriço) and ham are kings of gastronomy here, as well as medronho brandy and melosa liquer.

Your appetite is now open to experience the mountain’s food and drink, so you will head to one of the most famous wineries in the region where we will prepare a delightful outdoor picnic for you harmonized with the wine from this agricultural estate.

Meanwhile get to know the place with a guided visit to the winery.
