There is a place in the Algarve, where a private picnic awaits for your group in a beautiful vineyard
This private picnic is offered in a special vineyard of the Lagoa Region of the Algarve. It will be served with fresh fish or seafood from the Algarve sea, as well as meat, sausages, and cheeses from animals grazing in our hills. It will be accompanied by special wood oven-baked bread, and vegetables, fruits, and nuts that grow in our Barrocal, with flavors enhanced by the sun.
To make the gastronomic experience unforgettable, Algarvian wines will be added to harmonize with the food.

Get to know the enogastronomy of the Algarve from a passionate and unique perspective. Choose to travel to the estate on your own or comfortably board our Happy Van from your hotel or accommodation for a private picnic in the vineyard lasting 2.30 hours.
Upon arrival at the local winery (Monte de Salicos Winery), be greeted with a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar, learning about their unique wines and how they are produced in the Demarcated Region of the Algarve.
Next, be surprised by an unforgettable meal in a properly prepared outdoor space: A picnic harmonized with wines from this agricultural estate.
The private picnic will be served with snacks such as:
Fresh fish or seafood from the Algarve sea;
Meats, cheeses, and sausages from animals grazing in the fields of the Algarvian mountains;
Special bread, made in a wood-fired oven;
Vegetables, fruits, and nuts that grow in our Barrocal, with flavors enhanced by the sun, and
Regional sweets.
To make the moment unforgettable, we pair Algarve wines characterized by aromas of ripe fruit and a velvety and warm flavor, much like our terroir.
Enjoy the company and this outdoor meal where the Mediterranean diet has a special place.
In the end, you can also buy some bottles of wine and other local products as souvenirs.

Es war eine absolut tolle Tour! Der Guide Paolo ist ein super netter und freundlicher Typ, der immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht hat! Er hat viel zu den Weinen und den Anbaubedingungen an der Algarve erzählen können. Die Winzerin hat auf einer romantischen Terrasse die Verkostung vorbereitet. Zu jedem Wein gab es eine kleine Essensbegleitung, die immer passend war. Die von ihr eigens eingelegten Makrelen sind ein absolutes Highlight! Dass die Fahrt in dem alten VW Bus ebenfalls ein Highlight war, brauche ich nicht extra betonen 😀 Immer wieder gerne!
